Most countries would pay him to come to visit but he came to Somaliland on his own accord!
His visit to Somaliland was certainly interesting as he discovered the un-touched jewel of Las Geel.

Somewhere in the middle of the hot Somaliland desert is a complex set of caves (called Las Geel), where the walls are beautifully decorated with 450+ ancient paintings of animals & humans. A French explorer recently discovered this site in 2003, and after close examination & in depth research; archaeologists have said these paintings are between 7,000 – 11,000 years old! That’s older than the Pyramids of Giza!!!
